This is the 3rd General Election who will decide the fate of the girls in their placement of the 22nd single.
The voting methods for Japan includes AKB48 mobile, SKE48 mobile, NMB48 mobile, AKB48 fanclub site, AKB48 live on demand. AND THE VERY IMPORTANT: 21st single insert sheet.
The voting is from 24th May 2011 10am JST to 8th Jun 2011 3pm JST, the opening of votes will be on 9th Jun 2011.
This afternoon I have received my own copies of 21st single; Everyday, Kachuusha

after getting to the member page. ensure the name and photo match!
on the serial number card which looks like this
there will be a series of numbers in 2 sentence format beside the QR code on the right side of the card.
input in the same manner into the 2 fillbox at the member profile
after voting there will be a survey of your gender, age and location. just do it or skip it.
1st is age
2nd is Gender
3rd is location
for oversea voters please scroll to the last option
Submit and you're done

You are AWESOME for posting this, I've been waiting for this to determine whether or not to buy the CD b/c I didn't know if I could vote as I'm in the United States. So I don't need to make any adjustments on my computer at all? I'd read that you had to "trick" the site into thinking you were using a Japan-net computer…

Just FYI to the comments above, there has been absolutely no official comments that overseas IP addresses will be banned. That was a silly rumor started within the fandom. The senbatsu sosenkyo has never been restricted to Japan-only IP's, merely limited to Japanese language phones in the past. Considering the push AKB is doing to overseas, like Singapore lately, the fact they are doing super enpou tickets for the election show itself, and there is an option in the survey to say you're from overseas, I think it's pretty obvious this rumor is completely made-up.
