Went for Waseda Shibuya school event for the previous last weekend. It was fun but food ran out in a jiffy. The alley were too small, thats my only concern. Overall is was fun. For the haunted house, I was trying not to step on to the hands of those student while the bunch of girls in front of me went haywire. "Why do you flip my skirt up !!! *scream*" "Don’t worry its so dark, the guys wont be able to see anything". LOLed !! Overall, it more fun than what I had expected.

I am vivid fan of the abetterbouncecard. Recently, I get to test out the ABBC feather light, its great for portraits without the hot spot. One thing bad is that, it send forward less light and it can cause problem with wide shot or group shot. So I decided to make a 2 in 1 ABBC. Continue reading ‘ABetterBounceCard Feather “Pro”’

Photography.

My backlog is accumulating. I yet to finish Rachelle and Liang Yi set and next come Liang Yi loner shoot set. My TFCD shoot set is only half done and it take priority out of everything because we all screwed it up. Totaling over 800 of raw images. I am lazy ~~~~~~

Having shot mutiple portraits shoot and the most recent TFCD shoot yesterday, I came to realise the 24-105L is nowhere deem for portraits. Although within the 85-110 portraits range, the f4 aperture make it a stop less "popping" lens than a f2.8 or less, but it make a great general photography lens. It will still be my event workhorse for times to come.
Come one day, my pro photographer friend decided to take a purge for Canon 24-70L and ditched his copy of Sigma 24-70. Enuff said, his result on the 24-70EX was stunning on par with Canon and serviced/calibrated. Above picture show the actual unit and 1/4 price of the Canon but the 82mm thread is a turn off. Decisions!!!!
50 f1.4 and 85 f1.8 are good prime for portraits but I don’t like to sneaker zoom.
I am lazy. 70-200 f4 is a must get in the future but right now I have not encounter situation where I needed that tele range.

As per last post, I left out the unfinished Kenshin. But today is a different issue. It was finished. It was taken in a rush and I doubt I will finish my copy of Kenshin anytime sooner. XenoMorph is my resin teacher ^^
