Miss Clarity Cafe

Just notice this cafe a few months back with its ads stuck near the bus-stop of Bras Basah. On my mind, maybe just another cafe. It just happened that today, Wasewase-chan decide to give this cafe a go. Here is the website.

Location is partly obscure but not hard to find. The entrance was appealing though, + points. In we went, the decor is somehow budget and one look can see its all from IKEA with one mini hi fi blasting noise. Noise being unable to hear whats it is playing. The layout is kopi-tiam style and the setting is narrow lane and close quarter. Staff is quite responsive but waiting time can be long if theres a lot of people. It can get a bit noisy in there when we have to shout over the din but we don’t mind it for a reason later on.

Heres the menu.

I ordered chicken ballotine but they ran out of ballotine(what is a ballotine anyway), therefore anyhow eyeball one dish which I forget until it came to my table later on. It is the Fish Cordon Bleu with cheese and ham in between 2 fish. Portion wise is there, not too small either. Testing result: Nicely well done and not over cooked. Crisp on the outside, tender in the inside. The taste was kinda heavy due to the cheese and actually got full midway. After that is desert, 1 scoop of ice-cream.

1 appetizer + 1 drink + 1 main course + desert = $11.80

Best of all no +++. No GST, no service charge. Still okay when we still have to pour chilled water ourselves. Will become the next will-go place next to Carls Junior. Highly recommended.

CONS: Never open on a Sunday

*Will wait for pics from Wase-chan*
