Lazing around, wriggling around. Heres my mess beside me on my left, on my right I am typing this crap. Melissa is there to add more life to this dead zone. Laze……………………..
*I notice why my picture taken look so dull. A *beep* on my F31 change everything*
Past two weeks havn’t been doing anything on garage kit. It either too distracted or plain too lazy. Somehow, 2 months ago, I have an idea on dollfie fashion. Somehow my friend next door have’t been able to contact his designer sister. Go no go depends on her decision.
Its great to have goals.
Souseiseki Pinky have arrived. muhahaa someone have to come CSC this sunday. At the same time I get lots of Hong Kong stamp.

Few days before, I was doing some packing I happened to chunk out some rare gems. My first DIY headphone amp stashed under my bed. I just plunged into it without any knowledge of any electronics and crawl my way through. Pardon the electronics jargon as they is no other way to discribe them. It will make some sense to someone who is electronically trained.

I have purchased this Gunze Mr Surfacer 1000 bottled primer thinking it is cheaper and last longer. But thats not true. I have used it sparingly until now I used it fully to prime my Kanu. It was an sh88ty experience.
Can’t use industrial thinner, because it dried up too fast and have to use Nakamoto acetone based thinner. (Now I can ID the type of thinner by smell, I am so dead). Thinning is an chore. When come actual spraying, it took me thrice the amount of time it took me to use a spray can to get proper coverage. Being thinner when mixed with thinner, it leaves sh*t load of pin holes uncovered, which later I going to cover it up myself. It gunk my procon so easily that cleaning have to be done every single cup full and dried so fast that it make a mess and it doesn’t grip as good as Tamiya. In term of pricing, I remember 100ml spray can Gunze is more expensive than 180ml Tamiya.
Hence conclusion, bottle primer is NOT GREAT for resins, maybe good for gundams. Tamiya spray can primer is King!

Today I will introduce some tools needed for garage kits. Some are necessities and some are nice to have. Still it make life easier doing jobs when using the appropriate tools.
From the usual sandpapers, airbrush and compressor which is a must. Performance and quality play a issue as well. Hi-end airbrush are mostly likely to be very smooth and hi-end compressor are usually very quiet mostly come with a air-tank for constant pressure. Of course down here the best value are Sparmax airbrush and sparmax compressor.

Procon PS270 and silair compressors.

Saw this at KKNM, very cute chibi saber mug.

Now drinking with it. I wonder how long will it last since I broke mugs very easily.
