On a unexpected visit to Nakamoto shop for his lengendary thinner, I asked him about gloss and matte coating. It seem for the normal gunpla modeler, trying to get a flat look and a gloss coat is a chore. Something that doent really bother a resin modeler; Flat just spray on a artist varnish, gloss just coat on a PU clear aka your car gloss with scratch resisitant and UV protection. ^^
However the steps with the gunpla way which normally people use is, 1 to 2 layer of gloss, sand and polish. Thats when I took notice of the "polish" which turns out to be Tamiya Polishing Compound. I got no idea what is that which later I found out was used for polishing. Works on every paint type.
One of the cliche that I encounter was to achieve a satin gloss. A pain in the ass surfacing. I dont want to spray another coat on the 2K black. Using gloss will have too much bling bling.

It works! Just the way I want, although a bit too way glossy. The polish was only rated FINE. I wonder what the tube rated FINISH will do. ^^ Can see my face on it I supposed.

Car Gloss is the winz
Gloss and uber protection and the same time
