This start my journey to the next kit. Nina Wang from Mai Otome. It was just so I happened to be there when I saw this kit. Whack first talk later, little do I know that this kit was almost impossible to get until months later.
Descriptions:
A little background on it. Mai Otome was both a manga and a serialised anime. But the character from those 2 are different from each to each. In manga, she was the first Meister Robe user with the help of Blue Sky Sapphire and character design was way cooler. In anime, she carries the Ultimate Black Diamond 漆黒の金剛石 Shikkoku no Kongōseki and character design was way ugly.
Scrupt was by Volks and they does the series of kit of Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome quite well, manga version.
This is Nina counterpart Arika in Meister Robe.
Starting on the kit, as usual is sandfest! Took me 2 weeks to sand everything. When thats over, time to send Nina to the bath. With the wonderful Magiclean, dunk the parts in a container and soak overnight.
Magiclean was quite expensive though. Can see how much I used just for a dunk.
I have gone on a mass purchase to kit up my toolbox, TOOLS only. Have not really gone into paints yet, as I goes along, will slowly kit up the paints.
