Bunny Haruhi Resin Project Part D

Progess have been quick. From sand to painting and varnishing and paint and varnish. Haruhi is starting to take shape. Sadly I lost my Haruhi’s right side ribbons. So sad. Picture speak a thousand words.

Flesh color appied. Bunny tail sprayed.

The flesh colour was mixed with clear coat which I have to figure out myself later. White was hard to paint as white and it stinks. Shading was quite easy with clear coat.

The stocking was spray with multi-layer clear brown

The shaded torso

The head

One of the ribbons

Argh. I lost the right ribbons. I think I "ta bao" with the newspaper when I was packing up.

So made some custom ribbons

Final pose

The main body more or less it done except the head and the legs and the guitar. The rest of the process is minute work. I think I be getting the fine brush by Ashley. OMG it cost $10+ but no choice I need it to paint the eyes and some touch up. Did I mention that the gloss was not the normal gloss. It is automotive gloss with UV and scratch protection. It is darn toxic btw.

The replacement ribbons

Bought the ribbon from arab street but too big. Spent the whole night cutting and burning.
