Bunny Haruhi
Oh yeah! Suzumiya Haruhi rocks dont she? Especially in bunny suit. This particular resin kit is limited edition mail-in only. Costing at a whooping 14000 yen (SGD$183) - -" pretty expensive for something not painted. So I got the recast version instead. I start to take interest in resins due to the fact that, sitting at XenoHobbyWorkz staring at the display resin make my heart skip a bit. It was nothing much as first until Asteroth decided to build his own EB Saber. Thats when all hell broke loose.
So down I went to XHW hoping for this 2 kit are availiable. Simca being my first choice.

In the end bad news, out of stock. So rush down to Brah Brasah HQ and happened to dig out a Haruhi.

Packed in a mircowave lunchbox imported from E2046 and so much cheaper than the legal version.
A quick check for missing parts turns out safe. Considering the number of parts (34), it seem to to be complicated. As I soon found out most of the small parts which make up the number belongs to the guitar with most of them packed inside the bag. Even EB or Simca content only 14 - 16 parts?
They even contain the guitar strings and the stockings. A bit of research found out that the included wires is too thick for the guitar.
Lesson cost $50 from XHW. The first thing to do in a resin kit is to have a sandfest. Sanding fest!!! When you sand down all the moldline cut out of the extra spur. I think it is one of the most time consuming process, with the end product’s life based solely on the initial sanding. With water and sandpaper, I gotta do it all day.
